crossing the Sahara Desert and Mediterranean Sea. Reflecting on his harrowing experience,
he discovered his purpose: to create opportunities and provide support to most deprived communities in Ghana, ensuring young people wouldn't face the same dangers he did.
Ousman Umar is now an accomplished author, having written books such as "North to Paradise: A Memoir" and "Desde el país de los blancos".
He has shared his inspiring story and advocacy for education and empowerment on notable platforms like TEDx, The Global College, United Nations, and the BBC.
